Who would have thought 1/4 cup of walnuts (which is about 10 nuts, if that) would be 200 calories?

I'm going to start buying a bag of them every week and just eat some to add more calories in my diet. I read the label about 5 times because I didn't think it was possible.

Yeah and if you get tired of those...Almonds are pretty much the same. I can't eat walnuts because they make sores on my tongue, hopefully you won't have that problem.

Oh well doesn't matter, acorns are where it's at.

I remember that thread here awhile back with some guy asking if it was alright to eat acorns...

I tried one when I was little, thing tasted like ****. I figured if squirrels ate them they couldn't be that bad, but it was like a homeless man took a **** on my tongue.

But yeah, walnuts don't give me any trouble, I just didn't know they were that loaded. Pretty nifty.

Yeah dude, most nuts are pretty calorie-dense. Hence why PB is so great...

I didn't think peanuts were as dense as these... Maybe it's just because I hate peanuts and there are more of them to eat in a cup or something.

Walnuts are also good for slight increases in serotonin levels. They will make you feel happy.

Didn't work for me today, I went on a Hulk rampage. Broke the toilet paper holder off the wall and ripped clean through my shoelace because it got stuck in a know.

I may need anger management.

Anyone who's read about nutrition or who's read the nutrition label?

Yes but peanuts are not actually a nut, they are a legume. FYI.

Ok, I love walnuts. I added them into my diet every day this week and I gained 2.5lbs and I am now officially over 200lbs for the first time in my life. Weighed in at 200.2lbs today.

All nuts are calorie dense. Almonds, peanuts, walnuts, macadamias, cashews, etc. Eat your nuts!

I know, I love cashews but while I'm trying to lose a few pounds they're off limits, never really understood where the calories come from in nuts.
