Ok, this may sound a little girly, but it works for me as a good kicker either in the morning or as a late night snack:
1 cup fat-free cottage cheese
1 scoop of casein powder (I love banana cream and chocolate)
fruit (rasinins, banana, or some berries)
1 packet of oatmeal (straight from the microwave, fried on the stove w/ egg-beaters, or broiled in the oven)
almonds
sweet potato or pumkin to top it off w/ (you can mix in a little honey)
I also add in some tofu, but whatever works for you....
Layered up:
cottage cheese (w/ casein mixed in)
oatmeal
fruit
cottage cheese
oatmeal
fruit
sweet potato
top w/ some nuts
