Hey guys,
I know a good dosage of Vitamin C is helpful for workouts and gains, but the problem is, I'm not quite sure when to take it. I have 500mg pills, and I take them roughly 30mins.-1hr. before my workout. Is this good, or am I supposed to take them after my workout with my protein shakes, etc.?

i would split them up, i take the 1g pills. take one morning, one PWO, one at night!

Are you getting enough vitamin c through your diet? Taking more vitamins than you need is pointless and leads to toxicity levels. And I'd just take them everyday when you wake up.

alright, morning is good enough. i thought there was a benefit to taking it real close to the time you work out.

actually..i dont think it really does help you "gain" if by gain you mean gain weight and/or muscle.

Once you have taked your 100% daily amount of Vitamin C you dont need anymore, it lasts till you sleep and wake up. its a days supply, but if you have to have more then just eat an orange before a workout....
