How frequently do you guys schedule a PR day? Then, do you attempt PRs for deads, squats and bench in one week or split them up?

i go for pr's not on the movement it self but movement that relate to it. brd presses, good morning, rack deadlifts. trying to max to often on the full movement is asking for injury. kinda like sprinter working on there start. if they have a faster start they'll run a faster time with out having to try and run all out everyday.

I go for a PR if I feel good and am confident I can get it. I don't plan for PRs, I let them happen.

When I'm not in meet prep I honestly go for them on almost every max effort day, but different "lifts" each time, or a a different rep range.
Now I am in meet prep so, I'm going to be more conservative up until meet day.

I'll generally just shoot for one PR in a session, but someone training for competition powerlifting I could see it making sense to go for multiple.

Like others suggested it might be best to use modified movement like a rep PR, a limited motion like rack pulls / board press / box squat, etc.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I'm going to be trying to get over 700 on squats and deads this year, so I've started actually training for pling.

Not to jack your thread but being that I am on the Texas Method witch has you going for a new PR every Friday on Squat, Bench, and DL. Is that over doing it?

Everyday should be a PR day. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. I plan my PR days on meet days.
