No. Prohormones have very serious side effects and in the end would only leave you with less testosterone than you already have in your body at 18 years old

You have a degree in exercise science and you have to ask this?

yeah i realize that but, when people say that right when you get off it your testosterone will drop, thats completely false. Well ofcourse you have to take products for a few months to level out your testosterone but if you do that it will not drop!!

At 18 the last thing you should think about is screwing around with your test levels.

Correct, your natural production of testosterone begins to shut down at the beginning when you start to take the prohormone because it knows you have more in your body than supposed to. But when you stop taking the oral hormones, then you're left with virtually nothing at the end. That's one side effect, others include kidney damage, liver damage, fatigue, higher risk for depression end of the story is prohormones are worse for you than the real thing (not recommending AAS) Yes there are some perscription remedies for the lack of natural test, but you're still going to feel like crap for awhile. Don't be lazy and stupid, just put your time in at the gym

As others have said, the risks (especially at your age) far outweigh the potential benefits. You're young and strong and likely have a significant innate possibility for big gains. http://photosnag.com/img/1927/y08m1110mhmd/2.gif

No, lol. I couldn't say that prohormones are good for anyone at any age... I have heard that you should wait until your natural testosterone levels start naturally decreasing before supplementing them...

MikeK, have fun not being able to get it up when you reach 28 years old. Pro hormones KILL your sexual ability and hormone potential.

At 18 OR 20 or even through your 20's, you should not be taking PH's. Your hormone levels are still high and PH's will seriously kill your longterm sexual abilities, and have serious short-term and birth defect side effects (to name the least)

I would stay away until your hormone levels have gone down a LOT, so dont take them for at least another decade or ull regret it

Very well put Travis. Many people are afraid of injections, but the fact of the matter is PH's are actually more harmful than the REAL gear. This goes to show you that popping some pills for a quick fix really should NEVER be an option [the real stuff shouldn't be either], especially at 18 years old. Your endocrine system is not fully developed and altering your hormones, is very dangerous and yes you're playing with fire.

Stick with the basics, lift HEAVY, stay consistent, and be patient.
