Mixed up a good one today, figured that I would share:

1 Scoop Chocolate Maximus Powder
2 Scoops Vanilla Nitrean Powder
8-10 oz Skim Milk
1/2 Large Banana
2 Whole Eggs*
5 Ice Cubes

Would estimate the calories at 500+ and protein over 75 grams. Drank the shake over a period of 1-2 hours.

*Consuming raw eggs can be dangerous.

That does sound good!

I actually bought a Jack Lelane Juicer last night and today my Girlfriend bought a bunch of fruits and vegetables so will probably have some good blends later on today.

It was $150 but the thing is awesome, last night had a glass of juice made from 2 carrots, an apple, and an orange - tasted great!

Sounds good, but I'd throw in some PB, change the skim for whole, and use egg beaters instead (just because they're safe).

Shakes like that got me through high school.

Getting over 75 grams of protein is not bad at all. No matter how little banana I use, it always seems to take over in terms of taste. Meh. http://photosnag.com/img/1927/y08m1110mhmd/2.gif

How's the cleanup on the juicer? And how well does it work? I have been trying to talk myself into getting one, but have heard opinions from both end of the spectrum. I'd like to get your opinion on it, Mr. Tom, sir. :)

Mass shake sounds good, I need to try something similar.

The juicer works very well and is a great way to power down a ton of fruits and vegetables. Comes apart rather easily and clean up is not bad - will take you a couple of minutes to wash everything. The one that I bought was fairly expensive but I think that it will prove to be worth it as long as it lasts for a while. My girlfriend loves it for breakfast smoothies.

Yes, consuming raw eggs can be dangerous. However, if I may offer a little more information so that other people can have the opportunity to explore the issue further regarding raw eggs (and raw milk).

This can be a lengthly subject matter, so instead, I will post a view reference links below:

Looks like a good recipe Tom, I've been doing something similar, but I'll give this one a shot today.

I've been buying the egg whites in a carton to put in my shakes, they're pasteurized so you don't have to worry about the raw eggs issue. They also don't taste like anything and are pretty cheap. I throw some natural PB in the shake to make up for the fat lost from the yolks

Damn, you guys are pretty hardcore to be putting any sort of eggs in a protein shake!!!!! I'm a very picky eater so I would probably put everything in the shake you made, minus the eggs.
