I am 28 years old, 6'2", 185 lbs, been working out for about 4 years now regulary. I lift about 3 times a week and play basketball about 2-3 times a week so I stay very active with a mix of cardio and weights.

I want to put on another 15lbs of lean muscle if possible and so far I haven't been able to achieve this. I take 1 scoop of AtLargeNutrition Nitrean protein in the morning with milk, then eat my 3 meals throughout the day, then at night I have 3 scoops of AtLargeNutrition Opticen with water and a banana in a blender. I usually finish the night off with a big bowl of ice cream before bed.

I'm starting to wonder if I should try one of these Human Growth Hormone supplements. Friends of mine take something like this and have seen big gains. They said you can get these legally online and they are NOT regular anabolic steroids so they are perfectly legal. I'm just wondering how these things really work? if they are very bad for your body, liver, kidneys, stomach, acne, etc.? and how you go about taking them, in addition to your other protein, etc. throughout the day.

Thanks for any info I really appreciate it!

If you want results you definitely need to check your diet. That said, all the "legal hgh boosters" that are sold online and in stores are pretty much garbage. These are not the HGH that athletes and others use. Real HGH is an illegal steroid. Also, real HGH has to be injecetd, not taken in some pill or powder form.

i dont know much but this is what i think:

-keep lifting heavy, but cut the cardio way back or maybe even out completely (if weight gain is your main concern)

-have actual food for breakfast....if you just cant do food and must do a shake make sure it is a meal replacement not just a protein blend....try maximus or opticen...i would use whole milk if trying to gain weight

-eat more than 3 meals in the day...try for 6...eating every few hours...

-on your night time shake, use whole milk instead of water

i personally would not jack with my hormones unless dr recomended

Human Growth Hormone is not legal for sale, but IGF-1 can be found online so maybe that is what your friend is talking about. This product will not be worth your while and putting on 15 lbs of muscle for a 185 lbs person can be achieved with just a couple months of proper diet and intense training.

Most of the OTC (over the counter) "hgh boosters" are not worth your while. Arginine and Ornothine has been said to help increase levels but I would not expect substantial muscle gains from those amino acids.

Haha... I hope you're joking.

This product does nothing to impact growth hormone levels.
It is not efficient for building muscle, but moreso just bloat from increased estrogen levels.
Side effects are worse than most anabolics.

I wonder how long Tom can keep this up. This is impressive.
