I am going to use your squat routine for my next meet in ten weeks. Its a single ply meet so do you recommend the 5s and threes in suit bottoms and the single with straps up?

I'm assuming you mean the raw squat routine from Elitefts. If so, you are correct. Work up to the set before the prescibed weight for that week, raw, then add gear. For instance: if your set is 500x5 with briefs/suit bottoms, I'd do this:

Raw
135x5
225x3
315x1
Add Briefs/suit bottom
405x1
500x5

For the week you're doing full gear, try to work up pretty heavy before you put the gear on. SO, if you're taking 650 in the full gear, work up to 315 or405 before you put the gear on, and proceed accordingly. Maybe like this:

Work to 405 Raw as listed previously
Add Suit Bottom
500x1
550x1
Straps up
600x1
650x1
