Or lets say 65$ for 2788grams of protein. The 65$ includes the shipping price.
Currently I get my protein for GNC 39.99 and the second one is half off. Each are 5lbs with 82servings of 17Grams of protein.
This protein is ****ing nasty and 17G a serving seems low.
Any suggestions with in budget are appreciated thank
If your math is right, that doesn't seem like too bad of a deal to me. Just double the scoops/servings if you want more than 17g per shake.

First off, buy online. GNC is ripping you off.
Looking for anything besides straight protein and decent taste? I'd recommend ON Whey Gold Standard or Nitrean/Opticen (depending on needs).
For dirt cheap, there is always the brands being sold at costco/target/walmart. Buying in bulk always helps.

Wow, that's awesome. I'm going on vacation for a couple of weeks so I don't want to order it now. I hope it is still on sale when I get back.

I have been using cytogainer, I like it. I have used real gains for along time in the past, also very good. N-large has jacked the price up way to much, but from what I remember it was good. Many of my training partners use the vitamin shop brand protein powders and say its great for the price.
Also, GNC told me they will match any price, so the cheaper price I was getting at the vitamin shop I am also going to try and get at GNC. They are way closer to me than vitamin shop and I saved the receipt from last week, so I will try tomorrow.
As far as ordering off the net or mail order, it just stink to have to plan ahead. I always seem to wait until the last minute for stuff like this, and I am not going to go without supplements for 2-3 days.
I also go through a 6lb container in exactly 7 days.

As far as the cheaper proteins go I really like Dymatize Elite. You should be able to find it online for around $32 for a 5 lb jug (I think 77 servings) and it has ~25 g of protein per serving. I like it better than Optimum Nutrition because it dissolves better and better than the costco/walmart type stuff because it is easily digested.

I buy the same protein bc GNC is convenient and the "buy 1 get the second 1/2 off" deal brings the prices down a lot. What flavor do you buy that is horrible? I buy the vanilla and mix 3 scoops with water only and dont have any problems getting in down. You get 51 Grams for $1.19 which seems pretty good to me.

I bought a strawberry flavor that was in a red jug (don't remember the brand) and it was the one of the worst tasting things I've ever had. It smelled like strawberry before I added water but then it just turned sour. No one buy the strawberry flavor; it'll only waste your time.
NO ONE will like this protein. Trust me

Before i switched to BodyTech (vitamin shoppe brand) My Rite Aid had Twin Labs whey protein powder 2lbs jugs, buy one get one free for about a year. So they are normally 19.99 each, you get two for 19.99, so 4lbs.
That was a sick deal but they don't do it anymore.
I just get BodyTech 5lbs jug for 34.99 now.
