View Full Version : WORTHLESS supplements
I think many people out there take supplements that really do nothing but make their wallets lighter. ZMA may be one of those supplements. It seems like there are many studies now that says ZMA doesn't do anything. Scientific studies are the only way to know whether they work. If you search any random supplement on the internet you will read about all the "benefits" and then a link to where you can buy it.
Now what I want to know is have any of you guys noticed other supplements that are just plain hype? What supplements do you guys use that has for sure WITHOUT A DOUBT made a difference in your body? I think it's time for people to start thinking about what really works because it seems like no one knows anything these days.
creatine.
supposedly multi vitamins do, and I believe it, but its not an instant or noticeable thing in the short term.
I tried taking ZMA but it smells soooooooooo bad I couldn't keep up with it.

Uh, don't you notice a disconnect between those two lines of thought?

ETS. I've cycled on and off a few times just to make sure it is working. I believe that I can work harder on my workouts with it because I'm less sore. Because I can work out harder I believe that has had a positive affect on my body.

I second the glucosamine/chondroitin but only because I have a knee problem. If I go a few days w/out the glucosamine/chondroitin my knee starts to hurt. It's the only supp I'm taking on my vacation coming up.

I tried Vitrix and it I felt it a lot. But I didn't feel like I was getting any excersise benifit. The only place I felt anything was in my pants. I honestly think vitrix is sawdust and viagra. After that I tried 6OXO and didn't feel anything anywhere.
