It's called "HeavyWeight Gainer 900" by Champion Nutrition.

The directions call for 4 scoops of the powder into 16 oz of water or milk. I did that one time and it was a rediculous amount of protein powder. It wouldn't desolve despite the shaking I did. Obviously most of it did but there was still a good scoop and a half (give or take) didn't desolve. Now all I do is take a scoop and pour it into a a full water bottle and drink that.

So anyone hear anything about this supplement?

Thanks.

That's a calorie supplement for gaining weight. Hence, "weight gainer". In translation its low quality protein mixed with a bunch sugar that is great for making the supplement company money when you buy it.

You want something like Optimum Nutrition 100% whey, or a protein mix (whey, casein, egg usually). Look at the nutrition facts, it should be almost all protein, very little carbs and fat. something like 24 protein, 3 carbs, 1 fat.

Cheap usually = clumpy and bad tasting. ON 100% whey is very good tasting and dissolves perfectly and isn't very expensive. It's all I've ever really used though other than experimenting with cheap garbage at first so it's all I can recommend.

Seems like you nailed it on the head. Thanks man, I'll get whey next time.

I think it all depends on what your goals are. If you have an extremely high metabolism and need to be pretty drastic about consuming calories, it's not so bad.

I would try something like Opticen (http://atlargenutrition.com/nutrition_detail.php?products_id=2) It packs 372 calories per serving and is a pretty well balanced meal replacement which can easily be used for the goal of weight gain. Supplement facts are here - http://atlargenutrition.com/facts2.html

Compare this in servings and quality of the ingredients and other MRP's don;t come close.
