Yep, I finally did it, I reached 1000 lbs total! :strong: My stats are as followed... EDIT: My squat is now up to 350 with no knee wraps bringing my total to 1015 instead of 1000.
Age: 16
Bench: 230 lbs
Squat: 350 lbs
Deadlift: 435 lbs
___________________
Total: 1015 lbs

After just starting to take lifting seriously a year ago I have finally reached a small but very satisfying goal. I have worked my bench from 135 to 230 my squat from 215 to 335 and my deadlift from 340 to 435. I have been working hard and I can finally consider myself stronger that the average joe. So I just wanted to say I couldn't have done any of this without the constant inspiration this site has offered me and all of the wonderful help I have recieved while looking through these boards, even though I have just been trolling. So thank you everyone for the help.

Also sorry if this is considered spam, I just had to let out my excitment somewhere due to the fact that no one else around me really understands lifting as I do.

Also a quick quote for all of you: Today I do what you won't, so tomorrow, I do what you can't - Unknown

Congrats man. You and I had very different stats when we reached it (namely, my DL was much lower.) Keep working at it and you'll increase your total like it was a joke.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the support. This site has played a major role in my accomplishments, its an endless supply of lifting information and advice.

Also a quick update, my squat is now up to 350(no knee wraps). Also I havent said anything but I am going to a powerlifting competition on the 21st. I am in a powerlifting club with my school. So if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate hearing what you have to say. I can use all of the help I can get.

Nice work, and at 16 you'll be able to get much stronger yet. Stick with it long term and you'll have some amazing lifts.

Very good job, you have a lot going for you with lifts like that at your age. Just keep at it and you will be like Eric Lilliebridge when you are 18.

That's cool and all, but why bump an almost 2 year old thread, you could have started a new one? Nice job though, what meet did you get your total at?

There is no somewhere around there. You either can pick it up or not. Squats must break parallel for most to consider them legit. As I have asked everyone else who bumped this thread, first why, and second what meet did you hit your total at?
