The interesting thing is that when I do rack deads as the first exercise, even with alot of warmups, I can't lift as much. I did these after doing banded squats.

I spent the weekend fly fishing in cold weather. I camped and didn't sleep that well. I figured I be tired this morning and actually thought about not going to the gym. Glad I decided to go.
I did banded squats up to 455. I played with the bands and weights on top to hold them down and I'm getting about 100 pounds of resistance at the top. After doing those, I felt so good, I tried non-banded and heavy. 620 X 1. Yahoo!

PRs are PRs, unlike the other thread (which is in the BB forum and kind of confusing) any PRs are good here as long as its lifting wise.

I got 485x7 DL on Friday at some gym in Columbus, OH. This was after lifting a 230lb atlas stone and some other strongman implements at the Arnold Expo earlier in the day!
Good work guido, you're a beast man. I'll hopefully be repping out like that one day haha. But for now
new 1RM of 142.5 kg (about 320lbs) for DL today.

I've been doing EFS style training for the last couple of months. I had a deload week last week, in hopes of hitting some new PRs during the next 3 weeks. This morning, deadlifts. Conventional didn't feel quite right, so I tried sumos. Felt good doing sumos, so kept going.

Raw Squat PR! 515@195lbs Not a PR in weight but the last time I got this Raw I was 20-25 lbs heavier. oh and today was the first time ever that i handle anything over 400 without knee wraps (405 x 3 ) didn't go higher in reps cause I wanted to check my max.

Finally benched 500lbs in a single ply Rage X at the Iron Asylum meet April 11th. Only had the shirt for 3 weeks prior to the meet. 500 was really smooth, probably had a realistic 20-25lbs more in me that day, didn't realize it would go that well. Should of opened higher and hit the 500 on my 2nd attempt.

I havent really posted in here for some reason but, some reason accomplishments over the past month are:
Reverse light band DL from 5'6": 545x1 smooth...failed around knee level with 565. first time doing these.
Reverse mini monster bench" " : worked up to 365 failed with 385 mid way. also a first for me.
4 board bench press: 350x1 (very long arms lol) never maxed on boards before.
and the one im most proud of: a 75lb squat pr. Up until last thursday my best squat was a very sketchy 350. well, last thursday i squatted 425 after i had done many singles. very happy with that. now, i want 5 plates!

My lower body strength is weak in comparison to upper body when looking at the numbers.

First night in new Rage X (just trying to break it in and hit a PR in the process) - 370 x 5 off a 2 board. Got some nice blood drawn to prove it.

315 Chain suspended GM, below paralell.
Got a 685 free squat sans suit (but with briefs and all that). Video will be posted in the log sometime this week or weekend as I (still) don't have internet yet.
Also hit 315x7 on bench which isn't a 1RM obviously but was a PR for that weight.

I guess this is a PR, because I have never really done sumo deadlifts. Especially doing them for reps. But I did 405 for 2 sets of 10 reps :strong:

WOW what a difference a belt makes. My previous PR (505 2-3 in. high) felt like nothing with my Inzer Forever 13mm belt. Went to 515 deep and still had some left in the tank. This is awesome :D lol

yea, im pretty pumped about that.
I always seem to hit PRs on bench when i back off the singles and hit more reps as i have been lately, and then hitting floor presses harder.

Today I pulled a 515lb stiff leg deadlift with a hook grip off of a 4" platform, and did a 465lb zercher squat out of chains and off a 13" box with a cambered bar.
370, 375, 385 all on bench today

I froze my enemies in carbonite.
Also, I pulled a 225 lbs deadlift, eight weeks after doing them for the first time. Only 13 years after my football coach said deadlifts would blow my knees out of my ass. Jerk.
Oh well, I still have Princess Leia in a metal bikini.

Awesome workout! I used my loose Inzer Rage X for the 545 & 565. Then, switched to a tighter Inzer Rage X for the 635 and a pr too.

Haven't posted here before but due to being over worked this past week I had to workout on my lunch break and hit a good morning of 335 x 3 reps. 20 pound pr.
edited--- shows how much I been working my math was bad, it was actually 340 x 3.

On Tuesday I did deadlifts in my 5/3/1 and got 385x10. I probably could have done 15 if I wanted, but I limit myself to 10 so I don't blow myself out for the rest of the week.
Should try for 500 soon.

On 8/28/09 I hit 605 off a 3 board at 243 BW on bench. Weight went up fast but only had 1 spotter. Will attempt 615 or more tomorrow and work down to a 2 board with super katana still being broken in.

Was adding 10lbs to squats and deads every workout for a long time. I guess you can accomplish alot when your 18, eating 5,000 calories a day, and lifting right.
Hoping for a 315 Squat by Christmas. :thumbup:
