View Full Version : Natural Anti-Laxitives
I'm trying to gain weight by increasing my diet but I'm having a slightly embarrasing problem - as soon as I add more food to my diet the bathroom starts getting kinda funky if you know what I mean.
What kinds of things could I eat which would act as a natural anti-laxitive?

that might be your problem....perhaps you are eating too much of stuff that doesn't agree with your system.....
have you thought about bulking cleanly?
cleanly, as in without adding all the extra calories?
i think i need to put on some fat because i'm just skin and bones at the moment, that's my natural build. but i don't think i'll ever look much bigger without putting on some fat (which is proving almost impossible).

no, cleanly meaning that you eat a lot of cals, just make it clean foods, ie: fresh lean meats, whole grains, healthy fats, fruits and vegetables that kind of thing.
good clean, home-made stuff.
ohhh.. right. i guess it's worth a shot. thanks for the suggestion!
Why would you ever want to put on fat? Muscle is so much more attractive. Train hard in the gym 3-5 days a week and get 19-20 calories per lb. of lean mass daily and you will put on plenty of weight.
see.. that's what i don't like about this place. you get lots of advice, and it all sounds good, but it's nearly always conflicting.
another post i read said skinny people DO need to put on fat, not just muscle. and also i've been told on here several times NOT to train more than 3 days a week.

go with majority rule man.
anytime you bulk your gonna wind up putting on a little fat. eating right will help you do that.
as for log, i agree with the 19-20 cals per lb of lean mass, but i don't agree with 3-5 days a wekk int he gym just lifting. you need time for recovery.
tryska.. always there when i need her. thanks :)
