HAHA! I knew Ryan had it in him. Ryan's been fairly sick the last week or so, still a little beat up from the Raw Unity meet, and he still cranks out 10 reps with 405!!

Here's the video of both

JT, why don't you throw up a video of you doing 405 for reps! I bet you could get pretty close!

The more the merrier. I like seeing other guys have fun with their lifting and sometimes this is a good way to mix it up

Not that close:D My max reps with 405 is 6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgoeFIPTFxk

Your 405 x 9-10 reps is an inspiration for me to try to get more reps. I have a bp meet in Feb, March & April. Hopefully, I can try for a new max rep either in May, June or July.

I just use the reps as a heavy ascessory exercise. So I'll do my normal ME exercise that was planned for the day and then throw this stuff in afterwards. This way I don't feel it distracts from my training, rather it boosts it!

Great video JT!

Now lets not get confused, this isn't me vs. Ryan. This is Ryan and myself pushing each other. We're on the same team.

He didn't bounce either, he releases better than I do. Less wasted energy.

Don't forget either, Ryan is the one with the 534lb full meet bench, my bench only best is 500 LOL.

Good stuff. That was way easy for both of you. Nice and smooth. I might have to get in on this. I'm good for 7 on a training day, I'm sure I could squeeze out a few more--lol.

Makes my 4-5 reps look real ****ty. Not to mention that I outweigh both of you by ALOT. Lookin' real storng(both of you). Travis, I used to like to do a burnout after ME bench, but I did it with 315, not 405.

Great vid guys! To rep 405 is a goal of mine. I have been on a plateau for a while now a need to find a way around it.

You will Ryan. Heck, you look like you had 12 in the video, you just dialed it back prior to failure.

Pretty incredible, I wish I could get my form that clean on a 1RM let alone when I am repping. Amazing.

and don't forget Travis did ME work first! I didn't :)
it's all for fun, pushing each other, i wouldn't have tried 10 if it wasn't for Travis's video.
it is kinda funny how we do think alike, therefor train alike.

Good point. Travis, let's see the 405 for reps with no prior ME work!

Good stuff Travis. My best was last winter, I benched 405 for 9 reps after my max effort exercise. My shoulder is healing up nicely from the scope I had done. I should be back to balls out training in a couple more weeks.

The two of you looked like you were holding back. Seriously, that is inspiring and motivating to see such clean training lifts. A true demonstration of raw benching power.

Actually Ryan, looks like you could have done about two more clean reps easily in your video and Travis same with you.

You guys are doing a good job motivating each other. That's what it is all about, we need more of that in this sport.

The next video will be Travis doing 12 and then Ryan will come back with 14. Nice work.
