Hi Guys,
I found a fat loss study on the internet a long time ago that compared the fat loss (and muscle loss) or three different groups of people.

All three groups ate the same diet.
One group did no exercise.
One group did just cardio
One group did cardio and weights (i think).

I can't find this study... does anyone else happen to have a link to this ?

Not sure which study you are talking about but I think that the results would be pretty obvious. Was there a supplement included? Or a specific premise for this diet?

Maybe look on Pubmed - they have some great info on there but most of their stuff is based on supplements / drugs.

I am hoping group 1 did the best. I could adopt a program like that.

That study is on beachbody.com. Just have to search for it. The study was done on two groups. One who did one hour a day 6 days a week and didn't change eating habits for 12 weeks. The other didn't change anything at all. They found out the average loss over the 12 weeks for the exercise group was a mere 1% body fat. The other group I think stayed the same. So the consensus was, diet is a big key to losing weight along with exercise.
