So I just discovered this gem tonight. I was shopping at Trader Joe's and I bought a pack of meatballs, 16 oz for ~$3.50.
The meatballs are the small variety, about ping-pong ball sized.
Here's why they are awesome: 1 serving is 2 meatballs, 240 calories, 18g of fat. I had 6 of them tonight which makes 1440 calories and that doesn't include the pasta or sauce.

The big question is, do they taste any good? :)

Good if you can get past the fact they are a little rich (from the fat).
How much protein?
13g/2 meatballs so there was 39g in my meal. Pretty bad if you are looking at it from a protein/calorie ratio, but that's what protein shakes are for.

6 meatballs. If I had 6 servings I wouldn't be alive here to type these responses.

if you had 6 meatballs then you might want to look over some of the math you did there...
Edit: It's only 720 calories unless im missing something.

4oz of 85% lean ground beef yields 240cals as well, I only know cus I just ate 12oz. It further breaks down to 17g fat and 22g protein (per 4oz). I'm guessing the 2 meatballs you ate were 2oz a piece and made of 85% LGB. Yea its a great way to stack cals bro, good find.
