Does anyone do these? I feel like they would be wicked dangerous but I kinda wanna try them out. I usually only see people doing reverse band deads/bench.

Unlike with bench you don't have a spotter, and your not just dropping the weight ilke deadlifts. I feel like your ascent might be kind of weird do, easy to misgroove it...

They are a great movement. The grove is a bit different.

I do them and love them. They are great for getting used to heavier weights on your shoulders.

1-0-7 just did them on Monday. They do have a little bit different groove, especially if you can't get the bands right above where the bar is/going to be. But it is no more 'dangerous' than a normal squat. Have pins set up and spotters to help if need be. Its kind of like squatting with chains. it gets lighter at the bottom, heavier at the top. I love them, and they will let you get use to heavier weights.
