View Full Version : Short Friday Workout (in highschool weight training class)

I am on Rippetoes starting strength. I'm in a weight training class at my highschool (monday, wed, fri). I have enough time on monday's and wednesday's, but not on fridays (periods are shorter on Friday's). No way to get more than 6-7 sets done on friday. What are some things that I can do to get a good workout on Friday in 25minutes? I was thinking of something with KettleBells, or maybe a tire (there's a 300 pound tire in our weightroom). What do you reccomend?

you can do some type of GPP work with the tire.

Tabata with squats, pushups, and crunches.

supersets after ur main lifts

I work out on my lunch break and sometimes I don't have more than 25 minutes or so, so I do the superset thing. I do one set, pretty much to failure, of every lift and do ~10 lifts with no rest in between. Works for me.

25 minutes is plenty to do a couple routines superset. Quit talking so much and get to work :)
