Effervescent creatine is great, but you have to use the real stuff. A lot of companies just have some sugary fizzy crap thats not real effervescent. The crappy ones leave a lot of residue in the glass. Otherwise, I love it because creatine doesn't aborb well with a lot of food in the stomach and the effervescent only takes about 20 min to move from the stomach to the small intestine(where the powdered crap takes at least an hour). So I take it after my workout, give it 20 min and then I can eat my postworkout meal.

There's not much point to effervescent glutamine though. It's really expensive, I've used it before, it tastes like wild cherry soda, but it's just a waste of $.

Any other thoughts on this stuff.
I went to purchase some whey and flax oil today and the owner told me about how 90+ % absorption compared to 50 % powder creatine?
effervescent creatine is good stuff, especially for those who suffer from GI upset when they take regular creatine monohydrate. When that happens the ph of the stomach rises and the ingested creatine gets converted to creatinine...
Another good time to take it is on a cut when you don't want to use a active transport system like when insulin is spiked. You still get the benefits of creatine supplementation with out the stopage of lipolysis from an insulin spike. A insulin spike will halt lipolysis for up to 3 hours...

Thats how we got on the subject Lam. I was telling him how it's (pro-lab creatine) been giving me cramps and the *****s, so he recommended the effervesent. I never new it existed. Do you know of a good brand, he has three but I never got the names of them.
Thanks for the info.
