so about a week and a half ago i started my new diet and every night about an hour before i go to bed i get some bad stomach pains. could this just be that my body is not used to all the healthy food? i was not on any diet before this, i just made sure i got all my protein in. it was also hurting an hour after i had breakfast( oatmeal with a glass of milk) that has since stoped. any help would be greatful.

What are you eating for your diet? Are you training? If so, when (time of day)?

as for new stuff, oatmeal, bananas, salads, id say thats about it. i just took out all the bad stuff i used to eat. definently not Lactose intolerenc. and i train around 5 monday - friday. weights on mon, wed, fri and cardio in between + saturday. i cut out alot of sugar and fat and uped the protein intake.

Well try different things and see what happens. Drop the oatmeal and see if that does it. If not try mixing it up till you find what is causing it.

You might be getting too much fiber. That can cause gas and stomach problems (squirts, etc.).

Bumping protein to really high levels really quickly sometimes takes some time to adjust to. I know when I first started, I'd drop protein bombs on my coworkers.
