View Full Version : My bulk results so far (~20lbs)

Thought it was appropriate to post this here, even though it doesn't get too much traffic. I have been bulking for a while now, seriously for about 4 months and have managed to put on about 20-25 lbs which i am pretty happy with, though i know its nothing crazy. I'm posting this more for guys to give me some tips about what muscles need work and such. Any comments on my physique welcome. I was 5'11 in the morning 142, now 165 maybe more if i ate a big dinner the night before

NOTE: first one is post - bulk, In case you can't tell lol

Keep up what you're doing. It's working. That is a clean-ass bulk. What's your diet like?

Lookin good pal. Definite visible improvements and stayed mega-lean. You eat clean or ya just got a high metabolism?

And to be honest everything looks well balanced. Could do with a pic of the legs though.

Nice work. As far as what needs to be worked: everything. Keep going, dude. You're still really lean and I think you can easily put on another 20-30lbs without much trouble at all.

I'm about 165 right now, another twenty would be nice I think, and hopefully I can still stay as lean, I like the abs. As for metabolism, clean bulk, and diet questions they go as follows

Metabolism - high, but not crazy high a maintenance b/w 3500 and 4000 kcal depending on how hard im working

Clean Bulk/Diet - not crazy clean or anything, tried when i could to be clean but didn't worry too much when i wasnt (binge drinking definitely harms your ability to make good food choices lol). I didn't follow any sort of plan. just tried to get over 4500 a day and 1.5-2 g protein per pound body weight. I tried to follow a couple rules though to stay lean though

1. Not a lot of carbs before bed (didn't scare me away from milk though, i love that pre bed)

2. Most of my fast carbs came at breakfast and post workout and I would try to get about 900+ kcal for breakfast, and i would usually get about 1500 in the hour and a half after my workouts

Thats really it. About the leg pic, Ill throw one up tomorrow, Ill apologize for anyone I blind due to whiteness though

here is the new leg pic, sorry I don't have a pre-bulk pic. And also, anyone have any body fat estimates for me pre and post bulk, I'm bad at trying to figure that out and there are some pretty experienced guys on here who could hopefully help me out.

6 days is far from dead. I've seen people bring back threads that are over a year old.
As far as your bulking goes, it looks like you are keeping it really clean. Whatever you are doing is working great.
