Wooh!!!! Had a nice little squat session after track practice today. I'm a bit high because the guy checking my depth called me up a little early (you can't really hear anything in the video because the sound quality on my phone sucks). This is what i get for asking someone at the YMCA to check my depth and call "up" when i broke parallel lol. shouldn't be a problem getting depth next time though.

Nice job. At least the back spotter was there for you, the guy on your right might as well have been on the treadmill.

Is that just your single-ply suit?

Nice squat! What do you run in track? Have you found much carryover from your squatting to your performance?

well i actually throw discus and shot in track (not very well haha). funny thing though is i'm running the 200m in a meet this afternoon because i'm an idiot and won a 200m sprint during practice against a bunch of fast dudes. I didn't know it was only supposed to be ~80-90%. but ya, i couldn't really tell you much about carryover other than at the start of any race, no one can ever beat me for the first 5 yards because i'm so quick at the start but after that i'm ****ed.

Great work man. Does that rack have band pegs? If you tried to squat with bands, wouldn't they sling shot you backwards? I'd be bringing in a cutting torch and welder, haha

thanks lones. hahaha i actually do use those pegs to hook up bands for squat and deadlift. they work quite well and make it easy to hook up additional bands and tighten as needed. when i squat, i just have to be super careful unracking and walking the weight back. to rack it, i usually just fall forward lol

Fantastic.
