This was after my first cut, it looked good but I was still small [135] pounds. I have since been bulking for the last year. I want to become huge! I need all the help and motivation I can get. Mainly, I want big legs, cause that would be awesome.

I thought my chest was doing better so I tried a few push ups they felt good. Tried 30 lb DB press, felt good. Tried 50 lb DB press, felt good, 70 lb DB press felt good as well. Finally I decided to go for 90 and BAM arm screwed up again. No more benching for a long time :(. I even stretched up and warmed up like crazy for this one.

Felt crazy sick today but there are two things that make me feel better… Eating and working out. So I went to go workout. For some reason it clears my throat.

Chest is still hurting like crazy. Swithing completely to shoulders.

Awkward Chest Flyes - 110 x 8 x 5 x 7 x 7 [Found a fly machine but I held it in such a way my arms forearms were bent 90 degrees pointing to the cieling while my biceps pointed straight to the wall. I wrapped my arms like that around the fly machine to do a short pec fly]
Incline Rear Flyes - 25 x 10 x 10, 20 x 10 x 10 [Rear flyes have been doing jack for me, trying to find a "new" way that feels better]
Narrow Grip EZ Bar Curls superset Wide Grip EZ Bar Curls superset Reverse Grip EZ Bar Curls - 110 x 5 x 5 x 3, 70 x 5 x 5 x 5, 60 x 5 x 5 x 5
Tricep Overheads - 80 x 6, 90 x 7, 100 x 5 [PR, was pretty cool to have a 100 lb DB behind my head]

The muscle right between my right pec and my right shoulder muscle. Guido said it was a chest insertion muscle or something. It burns like CRAZY even when I do a pushup :(.

Was feeling lethargic today, but didn’t stop me from rocking legs.

Back Squats - 45 x 7, 135 x 5, 225 x 5, 315 x 3, 335 x 3, 345 x 3 x 3 [PR], 355 x2 [PR] [I have just been rocking the squat PRs lately, I think Box Squats have REALLY helped transfer to my normal ones]

BB RDL - 225 x 7, 315 x 3, 275 x 5 x 5 [Playing with random grips, double overhand and hook grip]

Nice workout, doesn't look like your knees/hips locked out on the DLs though..might just be the angle. Strong work man, keep eatin a ton and you'll be that beast you want in no time.

I wonder if those chairs are the same height as your bench? You could lay on the bench, put the chairs next to you to act as the floor, and then still use the rack of the bench that way.

Haha the chairs are pretty scary. We've had them for over 16 years! My mother reupholstered them a few years ago. I tried that out before but didn't seem to work well. Thanks for all the help so far DG!

Fooled around a bit today.

Giving hang cleans/power cleans another try. Started with ultra light hang cleans to get the feel down and then went to one plate on the power cleans just so I can get the feel of the “correct” height when doing them off the ground.

They feel easy enough but they don’t look right in my mind. I’m trying the “thrusting” motion people keep telling but I still can’t pin point what I’m doing wrong. When I thrust I bang my knees on the bar. I always notice a smooth pop into the front squat position but I can’t seem to get that.

Lend me your advice!

Grats on the Squat PR mate massive work.

Another critique of your clean form:
Get those elbows around FAST mate. You're catching it when your elbows are still pointing at the ground. You want them pointing forwards.
You look like you're trying to jump with the weight?
You may be trying to open up those hips but try harder. You want a full hip extension at the top of the pull. Hips should be open wide, not still slightly flexed.

Hope these help. Definitely work on the elbow/catch position.

Good job at meet man! Is deadlift the only event? A little bit of advice on the deads, it looked like you rounded you back slightly. Form was good though. Strong stuff man keep it up.

Bench and deadlift. Yea I noticed the round as well. Need to keep working at it.

I wanted to bench so badly but I tore my pec insertion muscle a few months ago. I did not want to risk it.

Awesome pic by the way mate, upper body is looking very thick. You've got the whole "power chest" thick arms/delts, big ass pecs and chunky traps.

Dude GJ on the rock climbing as well, I had a big fear of heights as well and I've got no worries now thanks to rock climbing. I found it really helped with not only chinup and hand strength but also my balance/co-ordination.

I'm a company rep. So I run promotions and help people out. I love rock climbing because this is one of the sports I feel that powerlifting and bodybuilding carries over. I tried basketball and others, and getting stronger doesn't help as much in those haah :D

I'm a company rep. So I run promotions and help people out. I love rock climbing because this is one of the sports I feel that powerlifting and bodybuilding carries over. I tried basketball and others, and getting stronger doesn't help as much in those haah :D


Dude I forgot to ask, being a company rep do you get all kinds of crazy free supplements? Or do you stick to the basics?

Yes O_O. But I don't go crazy with the supplements. I stick to stim-free products that focus on recovery, endurance, and muscle fullness.

Haha it's a bit conceited but just photos and posing in the mirror. Also I've had quite a few friends say "wow, your back has gotten much more muscular..."

That's the way to do it! In the past I had a bathroom where the medicine cabinet was adjacent to the full length bathroom mirror. What that that meant is I could pop that mirror open and look at my back.

Dracoy is LOVING his rock climbing at the moment ay mate? Good stuff, I find it to be a really enjoyable sport, I think it's great fun being able to move your body more powerfully and gracefully instead of just walking and squatting all the time (don't get me wrong, I love squats :P).

BTW your back is looking thick as mate.

Invented the most amazing abdominal workout. Put a 2 lb ball between your ankles and do a reverse crunch type motion but in a wave like fashion. Also using the ball, rotate your legs in a wind shield type motion for obliques. WIN!

As in Gaspari and Nitrocore? Nah, I buy them when there is a good deal around. I just picked up 5-6 tubs of Myofusion (Which is supposedly one of the best tasting protein's in the market) Real Mass was the best protein I've ever tried.

I've only tried the Novus bar, but if ALN sends me some stuff to review I would :)

damn you are one buff ass asian. i am chinese 5ft 9" at 158 pounds. the max dumbell bench i was able to push is 95*3 and flat bench 225 *3. After watching your workout routines i definately need to bump up my workout.

I haven't got a pic of mine yet, I may have one up tomorrow however. In the mean time, do you think you could direct me to some good tutorials/videos? I don't really have any way to learn aside from just trying stuff, which works fine but there's also faster ways to learn haha. I also don't want to be making stupid mistakes that become hard to correct later on.

I still can't do heavy squats or deadlifts, so my legs have not changed, maybe a little bigger haha.

I'm going to change my style up from powerlifting to bodybuilding for legs to aid in recovery. Low weight, high reps till I can do high weight low reps.

So I bought a Loaded Dervish... Check my journal for the stack I had :P.

I still suck at longboarding but I've been working pretty hard lately and decided to buy myself one for Christmas.

I'll mainly be using the board just for cruising and commuting, downhill scares the **** out of me. Because of what I'll use the board for I want to learn a bit of board walking (cross stepping and such) and also how to boneless or some way to get from the road up the gutter :P.
