Dear All,

Just joined the forum, hope there are people out there who wish to share there wisdom:

:)I am overweight and new to bodybuilding/loosing weight :)

My current plan workout plan is (every other day )

I currently have vitamin enriched kellogs breakfast prior to going gym.

Spend an hour on cardio equipment,

eat kellogs breakfast cereal bar (vitamins*need energy to start weight lifting*)

spend 2 hours on weight lifting

eat a off the shelf protien plus power bar (vitamins)

questions

Am I taking in too much vitamins?

Is better advised to do cardio and weight lifting on seperate days, or do you need rest in between weight lifting days?

Thank You in advance

You spend way too much time training. Read the stickies at the top of each forum and you'll see what you're doing wrong.

First answer, SHORT cardio sessions after lifting are beneficial. HIIT followed by a short steady state session to burn off the mobilized FFAs.

Second answer, I have no idea. Probably not. You didn't really tell us much about what your diet actually is.

Most probably the opposite. It would be very hard to take too many vitamins.
