View Full Version : Have I been using my SSB wrong???

Hey everyone

The leather on the pad of my safety squat bar is stuck together on one side, so I've always used it on the other side. Today I realized the camber angle is different on the side where the leather is glued down; it's a helluva lot harder! haha

If I put the glued side down, the camber is swung out almost paralel to the floor. Is this how most people use it? Or was I using it right originally? Or do people use a bit of both?

Thanks :)

p.s. I got it from EFS; pretty sure the brand is Crepinsek

The camber should put the weight out in front of you.

When I got mine I didn't know which way was forward either. Just from watching videos, I believe the camber should be out in front of you on an angle, but not parallel to the ground.

Thanks guys

Pete - Sounds like I was using it right then; the camber is normally out in front of my, but angled down. The way I tried it yesterday it was paralel to the ground

Cheers :)
