i dno i always just wore tennis shoes squatting... tried chuck taylors a while ago and hated them... any reason why u think i need hard soled shoes?

I recommend the Ristos. http://www.gwenweightlifting.blogspot.com/ . I love mine. The Do-Wins fit wider than the Ristos and are good too, even though a few people here have had blown out buclke on ours.
