I'm a sailer peg, and I lost my leg.
I just got informed I'm heading off to Boston for a convention in May.
Apart from some different conferences and meetings I'm going to have my days/nights pretty free.
What do I need to see/do/eat?

go to Quincy market, you will enjoy that whole area, Boston Aquarium is very near there and also well worth it. Don't go to the original Cheers (The Bull & The Finch) incredibly small and overpriced. May try to catch a celts game, they are quite a bit of fun. Then there's always Lansdown street for good night life.

I would certainly check out Newbury St. as well, some of the best stores on the planet, also check out the original newbury comics, one of the best music shops in the world...

The Boston Common park area is pretty nice. There's also some bus tours that take you around the whole city.
Don't forget Fenway park either.

Dammit, I hate people that sing the wrong words to songs.
The info on my ipod lied to me.
Thanks for the other suggestions, good thing to know about the cheers bar because that's something I probably would've checked out.

Lots of fun bars. Downtown is cool.
