Hi all.

I wanted to share with you my so called super shake.

1. 125 gr oats
2. 100 gr frozen strawberrys
3. 250 gr skyr (a dairy product that conntains 11,5 gr pro, 1,2 gr karb and 0,1 gr fat per 100 gr)
4. 50 gr protein, 2 big scoops.
5. 500 ml low fat milk

This contains aprox 1000 kcal, 115 gr protein, 120 gr carbs and 11 gr fat.

What do you think?
it would be fun to see other people ideas of "super shakes" :)

I useally cut the oats out for bedtime shake, i figured i didnīt need all those carbs for sleeping, is that not the case?

Carbs before bed is a personal preference. I can't handle it because it makes me ravenously hungry in the morning. Not good when not trying to gain weight.

I'm guessing you're trying to gain so that doesn't apply to you.

for low cal protein shakes i always add a serving or two of sugar free Jello (chocolate for choco shakes, vanilla for vanilla and so on) it thickens em up nicely while only adding about 30-40 calories. Also a carrot is good (frozen adds some body to the shake) and half an apple sweetens the whole shake up.
