Is flax oil pills as good as liquid flax oil?

How much do they cost? How many do you have to take, for how much fat?

The answer...no.

Flax seed oil lasts a long time.

You do not get an adequate quantity in the pills. The Omega 3 efas prevent your body from storing carbohydrates as fat and also help break down existing bodyfat.

As efas are adversley affected by heat, light and air you should consume flax oil fairly quickly, certainly less than 6 weeks.

According to Udo Erasmus the fats guru you need about 1 tablespoonful of efas per 50 lb bodyweight for optimum effects.

You would have to consume a massive amount of pills to get that much. Also obtaining efas just from flax can cause a deficiency in Omega 6 if you stay on it too long.

Each table spoon equals 14 pills. A 16 oz of flax seed oil should be around 31 table spoons. The longest I have heard that it last once open is around 3 months. hope this helps.:D

I heard the liquid was better, but I purchased the capsules because I live out of my suitcase often and didn't want to worry about refrigirating the liquid once it was opened.

I don't *think* you need to refrigerate it...I may be mistaken though...

Oh you need to refridgerate it alright, unless you like..THE BLOB!

Flax readily goes rancid unless it is refridgerated, of course it tastes so nasty to begin with, who would know?

PS. You are shaking your flax before you take shots of it, right? That may be why it seems watery. Shake all of them tasty lignans back into the mix, cap'n.

Or something.

Can you take all tablespoons at once or do you have to split them up
