I participated in a strongman demo at a new gym down in Fort Myers, Florida over the weekend. It was a chance to get in a good training day with my old training partners and an excited crowd of strength / fitness enthusiasts.

Hit a few PR's including surpassing the current american log press record.

- 335 lbs 12" log clean & press
- Yoke Race / Sandbag Carry Medley
- 600 lbs Deadlift x 5 (no suit).

Will be doing another strongman demo at a highland games event in three weeks here in North Carolina, and also competing the next day in a small contest in South Carolina.


That's insane deadlifting, especially with a double overhand grip...

I appreciate the complement, but was wearing straps on the deadlift.
