Has anyone found that they could have as successful of a cut with just a caloric deficit, and not setting any sort of strict restrictions on carbs?
Im on day 3 of following that Twin Peaks article basically to the letter and I am hating it.

You can cut just fine without following a strict carb regimen. I'm hypoglycemic (my blood sugar can dip really low) so I feel absolutely awful if I don't have some kind of carbohydrate every day.
Just watch your timing, don't eat something carb heavy before bed, try and limit your carb intake on non-workout days.
You won't lose weight as fast, but you will still cut down.

if you eat carbs past 5:23pm, you will get fat, guaranteed.

I eat my carb heaviest meal right before bed. Sometimes I eat it in bed. The carbs help me sleep. Nothing wrong with that.
If you have a caloric deficit you will lose weight. It is that simple.
