I always wanted to start lifting and get huge but every time I started, I would make it for about a month and quit. I had no motivation. A friend of mine (who is actually a member here) asked me if I wanted to start lifting with him, and here I am about 8 weeks into it and....I'm addicted. In hindsight, I wish I would have taken more accurate measurements and some pictures so I could see my gains but I guess now is as good of a time as any to start.
I am 6'5'' and 235 lbs. Unfortunately, my weight to strength ratio is still pretty low. Hopefully, after my big initial gains Ill be able to bring my strength up to where my weight is.
Well, this is just a start. Hopefully within the next few weeks, Ill get some pictures up and maybe some raw numbers on my lifts....It all depends on classes though...Finals are coming soon:(

Deads are getting stronger. My goal is 405 off the floor and with 8 off the rack, I am feeling pretty confident. Looking to go for it maybe next week or week after.
I wish I would have recorded my lifts when I first started lifting a few months ago. As far as I can remember, my bench was 135, dead lift was 225, and squats were probably around 160. These are just estimates but they are close.

Missed back day on monday. Its finals week...I have a ton of work and I'm feeling a little under the weather.

Thanks eatmyway, it was hard this last week to keep up with lifting but I still managed to get a day in. Exams are over now so I should be able to get back on track and keep gaining.

Not a good day today. Did not have any energy....should have been able to keep pushing squats, they didnt feel heavy but muscles were fatigued.
