For those who don't have the strength to perform GHR with their own body weight, here's an assisted variation I came up with using bands. Before this, I set the safety bars down near the bottom (#2), and as I came down I supported myself by grabbing the bars and slightly pushing myself back up (I'm basically doing a chest fly). This put a little too much stress on my shoulders, though, so I needed to find a new way. The amount of **** you can do with bands is awesome!

I've tried them like that but still can't do them (even with a green band!). I can do them unsupported on an actual GHR though... Getto GHR's are a lot tougher!!

Really?! I've actually never tried them on an actual GHR so I had to get creative. You can't do them holding a strong band even with your hands far apart from each other? It's obvious, but you can make it a lot easier if you grip the bands with your hands really far apart.

Haha that is awesome man. Very creative **** right there :p I don't have problems with GHR's but damn if I did that'd be perfect.
