ive probably asked this before but does anyone know of a protein that is flavored with something besides choc, vanilla, and strawberry? Maybe something sweet like grape or fruit punch?
Im really just looking for something that tastes tolerable with water or even diet cranberry juice and ive had no luck thus far.
Id love to try At large based on the positive feedback from everyone here but i dont have a credit card. so it would have to be something i could pick up domestically.

I've seen different flavors like fruit punch etc. on various sites.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if I remember correctly you can use PayPal with AtLargeNutrition. All you need to use PayPal is a bank account.

ALN is not for you since you don't like the only three flavors they offer (besides novus bars). Try optimum nutrition, they have like 100,000 flavors. I can't help you with the credit card thing, get one perhaps?

AtLarge's proteins are blends, which are superior to ON's whey.
As for different flavors, you can add things to your protein. I've added cinnamon, berries, different crystal lights, etc to vanilla Nitrean.

No doubt ALN's blend is superior to ON 100%, but he said he wanted a protein powder that wasn't chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. That kinda took ALN out of the running.

like someone mentioned, ON has a ton of flavors....
LMAO @ your username too. I'm assuming it came from flight of the conchords, which is possibly the best show ever created :D

ON has a variety flavors but they are mostly based on the standard flavors, not fruit flavors. They are all going to have that cream taste which it sounds like you are trying to avoid. ON did produce a 'tropical punch' flavor in the past but it is not something that I would suggest purchasing.
Syntrax Nectar has a few fruity flavors - green apple, carribean cooler, etc. (though I tried the carribean cooler about 3 years ago and it was probably the worst shake that I have ever had).
TrueProtein offers you options for flavoring your proteins and believe they have a good selection there as well.
Honestly the only way that you will find the flavors that you are looking for, with a good quality protein would be the RTD isopure shakes:
- Apple Melon
- Grape
- Fruit Punch
- Blue Raspberry
- Pinapple Banana
They are 40 grams of whey isolate, zero carbs, zero fat. You are going to pay at least $3.00 per bottle and most likely closer to $4 per bottle for the protein though - so if you are drinking a lot of shakes it is not very cost effective. The isopure powders taste different than the RTD's so if you really want a "fruit juice" protein then you need the bottles. Cytosport also makes a protein that doesn't taste bad in a similar form, RTD's that are high in protein and low in carbohydrates / fat with fruity flavors like watermelon, tangerine, etc.
If money is an issue and you are looking for a quality protein then I would suggest AtLarge for protein blends. Many of us on here drink shakes for the health benefits and in order to meet our goals, not because they taste great... although if your tastes develop and you do like chocolate/vanilla/strawberry I believe that the ALN flavors are very good.

so i was thinking of gettting the "natural" flavor and trying to flavor it with some fresh fruits in a shake.
honestly ive never been a baby about taste before, my problem is ive been trying to add mass for the last 2 years and got spoiled taking all my shakes with milk, now im trying to lower bf% and would rather spend the cals on whole foods and all of my shakes have been insanely awful with water.

I would buy the ON variety pack. 16 flavors for about 19.00. Its an easy way to try different flavors without being commited to a full pound of a flavor you hate.

Haha sounds kind of like a bunch of dudes sipping on wine coolers.
"Um, yes, I will have the Strawberry Smirnoff, please?"

All the Whey has some good flavors but they are not far from the basics. The cinnamon bun and cake batter are good but it is basically just like vanillia with a little extra added. I haven't tried the chocolate peanut butter yet but you could easily add PB to a shake.
Check GNC for the Isopure RTD's that are about to reach their expiration date. I've been getting them for $1/bottle. Just bought 17 bottles this afternoon. No way will I pay $4.50 or whatever they are regular price but for $1 I'll buy all they have.
