I have a friend of mine that is a soccer player. He has been working out with me for about two months. He is making great strenght gains thus far. He wants to work on his quickness and speed. I have no idea how to help him. Any suggestions would be great.

If he is on a highschool team he should have a weightlifting program already. If he doesnt have a workout routine find one that has these

squat
sprint
agility drills
plyos

westside for skinny bastards in the stickies is a good start.

He is out of high school and played collegiate soccer. He now is in a mens' leauge locally. I'll certainly take your advice for him . THANKS

go get him on defrancos or baggetts stuff. will work realy nice

In addition to his weight program needs to work speed/agility drills
There are hundreds and hundreds he can do
Just like a weight routine - needs to be well planned and adress different areas; stride length/frequency/mechanics
foot quickness/change of direction mechanics...
