So today was ME Bench day and felt really good today, but when I got under the bar I could barely rep 75% of my 1rm. God its so frustrating. I can't really pinpoint the reason either. Diet seemed ok and I'm not over trained(haven't lifted in 2 days either). Just pisses me off. What do you guys do when having a day like this? I did some tri work and just didn't feel strong, then left the gym cursing. (really just a rant post)

I just try to get some work in, and then get out. It sucks, but you have to look at it as just one bad day or week and get over it.

YEah man, we all get them. We know exactly how you feel. Weak and discouraged. Dont worry man, just think about your next workout. How was your sleep the previous night? Are you stressed?

Funny because I just finished training a few hours ago and had the same type of night.Shirted bench and it just sucked,but afterwards went and did OH presses and hit a pr.Just your body's natural biorythms and no big deal-you'll come back stronger next time.

at times like this you have to just keep your head up. you cant get too down on yourself.

Happened to me last week too. Wasn't getting much sleep and EVERYTHING went down 10% or so. Hopefully next week will be better.

A little cardio usally helps me get things back together. Take note of the word "little."

If I feel like im having a bad day I just turn my Zune all the way up.

hope youll be able to read in to this. i wouldnt know what %75 of my max is b/c we dont do them. sets of 3 at the most. if we do do singles there a warm up for heavy shirted work.
i did something to my forearm today and its ****ed up pretty bad now, just one of those days.
