I'm trying to get my weight down to a solid 250 and stay there for the summer football camp.

I currently fluctuate between 262-268
My creatine cycle is almost over so I think when I stop that I will drop a little water weight.


How many calories do I need a day?

I lift weights for a hour and half in the a.m and I have full gear football practice for 3 hours after school. (so im not on my ass all day)

I only take in about 2-3k calories a day usually...

Track your eating habits for a couple weeks using something like Fitday (http://www.fitday.com) and figure out what your maintenance is.
Once you figure out how much you need to eat to maintain your weight, create a deficit of 500-1000 calories a day. The deficit determines the speed at which you lose weight. Keep in mind a pound = 3500 calories so if you subtract 500 cals a day for 7 days you'll lose a pound, do 1000 and you lose 2.
Football practice is good exercise but you can add cardio if you want, if you decide to add cardio you should read this (http://www.wannabebig.com/training/general-physical-preparedness-core-strength-and-conditioning/how-to-do-cardio-if-you-must/).
Be consistent with your diet and it'll happen. Good luck.

Well actually I just got moved from o-line to d-line today.


I'm trying to lose some extra baggage, get quicker, without losing strength and staying around 250.
