I don't know about you guys, but food comas absolutely destroy my productivity. I have a hard time fighting through them after lunch to stay focused on what I am doing and not drowse off.

I know the traditional answer to this is to eat more frequently but less heavy meals, but thats hard to do when I'm already trying hard enough to get enough calories for a bulk.

Anyone have any strategies for coping with these damn things.

drink a strong cup of tea or a cup of coffee after lunch. It helps me tons with staying productive.

a little quick power nap can also help. But like 30-45 minutes. Any longer and I find I go into some sort of weird circadian rhythm and actually get more tired!

Light a match and put the hot ember on your wrist, the pain will keep you awake.
Seriously though, try caffeine or green tea or splash some water on your face.
