I was wondering what are some good stretches for your hips. I just stated running hills on a treadmill and have been noticing my hips feeling soar and stiff. What would be good to loosen them up and alive some of the pain? Besides stop running hills lol :)

How is running hills on a treadmill going to help your powerlifting? The best hip flexor stretch is to basically do a one legged squat and lean back with your knee in the ground.

Thanks. Im not looking for running hills to help my powerlifting Im doing it for conditioning and help bring my weight down.

I like to sit on the end of the bench cross legged (left foot on right knee) and push down on my knee for a 20 count. Plus some of the goofy aerobic stretches work for me as well. Plus someone once suggested palates, I just can't bring myself to do that.

I tend to start with a little different squat stretch (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/images/2006/drobson225_squatstretch2.jpg) and some dynamic stretching before I run.
