Has anyone ever heard of these capsules of 750mg 100% pure creatine monohydrate ?


I bought these today at YVS , or your vitamin store in metrotown and i tried to find these online to read up on them a more because a friend recommended these to me but i had no luck finding any information.

Now my question is has anyone used or heard of these "crea-caps" ( Super Nutrition brand ) before ? It's a plastic bottle of 300 capsules , the label is dark green on top and dark orange/brownish on bottom and the letters are mostly orange and white.

Read the FAQ on creatine at the top of the supplement section. What you bought is likely overpriced, but it's fine.

750 mg will not be an effective dose of creatine. Generally 3-5 grams (4 - 7 capsules) would be considered a standard dose.

You may also want to break the capsules open before swallowing them to improve absoption. Many people take creatine with a simple sugar (dextrose) to help increase uptake, but it would be hard to time things properly with capsules because they generally take around 30 minutes to break down in your stomach, but there are some variables that can impact that figure.
