its not like i have to eat fast food for lunch mon-fri (and i dont) but sometimes its just easier. i try to take a turkey sandwich on wheat bread everyday but sometimes i wake up late and dont have time to make one, or since i still live at home my dad will eat all my turkey...etc. well i was wondering besides my usual grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo from BK, no fries and no soda (i drink water instead) what else would be a good idea to get. i have a jack in the box and mcdonalds right by my work too, and sometimes i can make it to hardees (carls jr.) in time. im lifting to get bigger but im also trying to lose some fat around my stomach.

Doesn't really matter. Just don't drink a 32oz coke with your meal.

when it comes to foods i havnt got a clue whats in what.

Subway was arguably the healthiest before all the other fast food restaurants jumped onto the health food bandwagon. Now they are lagging behind IMO. You get very small portions of meat, a ton of substandard bread, and very generic vegetable choices.

Fast food is becoming just like going to the grocery store. Can you buy good, healthy food at the grocery store? Sure. Can I buy nothing but garbage? Sure.

Can I go to Subway and get a six inch veggie delight? You bet. Can I get a foot long meatball with extra cheese, a bag a dorritos, a 32 oz. coke, and a cookie? You betcha.

As long as you stay on the 6 grams of fat or less menu, yes. If you order anything else... very much no. The cold cut trio has around 1500 calories and the footlong meatball has like 2000 calories, 50 grams of fat and 2 grams of sodium.

If i eat fast food, i eat it for enjoyment, not for health. having said that, i get triple cheeseburgers and fries

All of them have good choices these days. McDs, Subway, Wendys, KFC. It is all about portion and what you order. 2 grilled chicken snack wraps at McDs will be better then a 6" carb loaded sub at subway. Then again it depends on your goals and macros.

It's called the "Cold Cut Combo."

Looks like it's called both.

but to get back on topic I would go with either Subway or Wendy's...no Wendy's here that I've seen...:bang:

Chipotle is fine for bulking. Most of their burritos are 1000-1300 calories. That is 1/2 my daily intake on cutting.

I have three fast food places: Subway (#1 by a long shot according to my debit statements), a local wrap place and Burrito Factory for a veggie burrito with whole wheat tortilla, avo and plenty of the hot stuff. Yum.

i wouldnt figure it but ive read Taco Bell is actually not that bad if you tweak things right. But almost any fast food place can be somewhat healthy there are some sites that cover the nutrient content of all fast food meals look em up and pick out what you would get at each fast food place if you had to go. So if youre out with your friends you can go with the flow.
