I workout first thing in the morning. Does is make a difference if I take it before I hit the gym or after?

Probably not.

Sometimes I'm hitting the gym at 6:30am and the Zinc in it that early upsets my stomach a little so I just take it post workout.

Really so long as you get it twice a day you'll see benefits from it.
