I figured I'd dust the Flip off and video my ME SQ/DL workout this week.

In the video, I hit a 470x3, then 510x1 pin-suspended safety-squat bar good mornings.

I can't remember the last time I did heavy GMs, so I thought the session went well.

I wanted to triple 510, but when I put the 1st rep down I saw stairs and figured I should not push it too hard since I'm getting back in the groove of lifting heavy again.

Lol.

My back has been sore from the second my last set ended to now. :evillaugh:

Thanks, bro. :strong:

It's like a hands free deadlift.

Interestingly, today I did 12 sets of speed squats on a low box w/the SSB (290x3x3, 330x9x3), 9 sets of speed rack pulls (405x3x1, 455x3x1, 500x3x1), heavy abs, heavy reverse hypers and my back didn't feel exhausted until my 3 (of 6) trip w/the sled.

I've been inspired by Travis' high frequency of training and I'm finding more frequent, shorter workouts are the way to go for me.

I'm going to hit ME bench tomorrow and I'll hit ME SQ/DL on Monday if I feel good (which I do now) because it fits best with my schedule.

Here's to GMs past and future! :strong:
