I keep hearing that green vegetables or more specifically the fibre in them helps your digestion.

helps your digestion how?

I get quite some fibre, but jus what is this aboot?

fibre helps slow down tranist time up to your intestine. then speed its up as it bulks your poo so the intestines can push it through easier. this decrease cahnces of constipation. helps to increase the speed of carcinogens through you, so decrease chance of solon cancer.

Anything that can make you healthier will in turn help out bodybuilding. Green veggies and fiber are great for you. They are great when dieting too because you can just about eat as much as you want of them and still lose fat. You burn off most of the calories just digesting them and the fiber will clean your insides out so other foods can be digested better.

So if I take about 2200 calories to maintain my body weight and I'm cutting on a 1800 calorie diet. Would it throw me back or be bad for cutting if I ate my regular 1800 calories then threw in say an extra 400 of just fibers like are in green veggies?

You could do that. I don't even count the calories from green beans, lettuce etc when figuring out my diet.

a good thing about veggies when cutting is they have lots of vit, minerals and fibre per kcal.

some food have more fibre, vits and mineral but not at such low kcal levels.
