I found a GHR on craigslist for $150. It's the Yukon brand. I know this is a good deal but don't know if its necessary to take up more room in my garage. right now I'm doing my GHR lying on the floor with my feet behind a barbell. Is that sufficient enough or should I spring for the GHR? Is the Yukon brand GHR any good?

If you have the room i would say get it. If not then Ghetto glute/ham raises will work.

I haven't heard of that brand, but the GHR is an awesome thing to have.

The Yukon is about as low-quality (cheap) as you can get. $150 really isn't that great of a deal for a used one, but it's not bad. It does have some issues, namely the size of the foot plate and the pad. The foot plate works for me, and mine is ghetto rigged with a couple of pillows and duct tape to make the pad larger.

This - I've seen them new for $150.

Yeah, a gym close by got one and I used it for the first time and the pad ripped off. Duct taped it.

Thing sucks.

perfect, thanks for the advice. I'd rather spend more for a higher quality brand then.
