Ok here is where I stand. I have a competition July 18th which I may or may not get a high enough total for the provincials. I have an opportunity to compete again with gear August 28th for which I know I can total enough for provincials. Here is the dilemma...

I will not be attending the PLing gym from September until who knows when. Which means I have to use my time with them wisely. Should I go for the second competition? Or should I not go for it and instead train with them to get stronger and try next year? I am in no rush either way.

get the gear, do the 2nd meet, total enuff and workout at whatever gym you can.

I would hit the meets. The experience alone will be worth it all. Get your workouts in when and where you can.

If your body feels up to it, then do both meets.

Me personally, I wouldnt do the meet the 18th, i'd train with the gear until the August meet and total even more. but thats me. The 18th meet isnt a bad idea, simply because you will gain experience. You should (if you go) use it as a heavy workout session with rules, so you'll be ready for your next meet.
