I was wondering if anyone has or has heard any feedback on the new XPG shirt? My sometime bench training partner is in need of a new shirt and the price of their double denim is cheap.I'm really anxious for the new company Rob Luyando has spoken of to unveil their gear.

No, but I'm pretty curious myself.

probly wont hear anything for a few weeks, the line just came out. Wonder if they'll start to make single ply poly shirts, that would be cool.

looks like a Karins shirt as far as the cut goes. I think Mike will do well since Karin is out of business. As long as the quality is good he will be fine, some people will not let go of denim.

Has anyone used a denim shirt from Ginny Phillips or know someone who has???

Brian Schwab does and I believe he just hit a 630lb bench at 165.

We've sent a few shirts to Ginny to have them altered and Ginny does a very good job.

Mike is a really good guy and a smart businessman so I'm sure these shirts will do quite well. His wife (woman in the picture) is the one who does the sewing I believe

Oh, and to add, even though I do not wear a denim, most of our 800lb benches have been done while wearing one. Dave Hoff, 825 in a denim, Greg Panora, 820 in a denim, and our current highest bench ever, Tonly Bologonone 860lbs in a denim.

All good point T.Bell. Isnt Greggs more of a hybrid now? My training partner is wanting to try a poly denim hybrid badly. He has a Karins shirt that is 10 years old he keeps going back to.

BTW what are yall feeding Tony, he made 1075 look like a joke at York last week!

Greg's is still a denim, it's just we reinforced the collar a lot more than it was before.

LOL Tony has been waiting in the wings for that total for awhile now. I think we'll see a lot more from him in the future. He's a crazy strong dude. I"ll admit though, even I was surprised how fast he jammed up 900. That was quite impressive.

From what I heard he's making these shirts, at least in part, BECAUSE Karin is out of business.

The company is called Overkill strength.... a lot of guys have already gotten shirts ( myself included) and done really well with them.....
