So I was walking around our Trader Joe's Store and noticed the Beef Jerky and noticed that a bag has about 3oz of beef jerky totaling about 210 calories and 33g of protein an about a total of 15g of carbs per bag...So my question is if this stuff good source of protein and overall healthy to eat as a daily snack, they have different flavors (terayaki, salt and pepper etc..) and all are really good. Do you guys think this stuff is ok for cutting/losing weight and getting ripped or better for bulking (or for both)

The answer to this is the same as pretty much everything else. If it fits into your macros, eat it.

Protein to calories sounds pretty good, just wish they had the stuff over here in the UK!

beef jerky is amazing...if it didn't cost so much i'd eat it more. some days i eat it for breakfast.

Macros are protein, carbs, fat. Basically if it fits into your diet plan eat it. As for better for cutting or bulking, the ammount you eat will determine that.

I like beef jerky. Im trying turkey jerky for the first time today and i must say it is deeeelllicious!

they do mate, check out tescos or asda, iv seen it in both them places


its usually around the crisps/snack/drink section tho as i think they class it as a bar snack type food though

This stuff is amazing. I try to stay away from it tho because of its high salt content.

Salt isn't bad unless you have a pre-existing heart issue and if your getting proper hydration, which you should be anyway.

High sodium diets can lead to many different health problems, including high blood pressure. Plus sodium helps to retain water. So the more sodium, the more water weight.

Its just a personal choice. I try to stay away from high sodium foods.
