I have been on this diet for a little while now and also doing an ECA stack. I havent seen any real movement after I have dropped about 20 or 21 pounds after about 2 or 3 months. Now I am getting 1 gram of protein per pound and I am keeping my calories at 1860 more or less. So since i am not dropping too much now where can I cut on this diet to lose more? I cant see cutting anything because everything is needed to keep more protein to where I am just getting 1 gram per pound. I am not sure any ideas anyone?

1800 cals is way low for someone at 231lbs. I would take a week break then start again at a reasonable level.

I was trying to cut thats why I dropped to the 1800 calories. Right now I am cycling off my ECA stack for the next 2 weeks and at that point I was thinking maybe a little ddirty bulk for about a month then right back to this cutting diet. I mean the low calories I am thinking were going to help me drop and it did for a little bit but I am not dropping now. Thats why I was going to cut something out of this to have less calories but I cant see anything coming out and keeping me at the protein I need.

This diet ***** is comfusing no matter how much I read or thought I knew

You need to help your metabolism recover. That should be your #1 goal. Bulking with low thyroid hormones could be disastrous.

Maintain or very clean bulk for 2-4 weeks.

Well how do I know if I have low thyroid hormones?

The fact that your a 200+lb young male exercising and not losing weight on a 1800 calorie diet alone says you have issues.

Take a 2 week break eating more food until your maintence gets back where it should be then drop cals a bit.

Well I am 32 not so young haha. But is it possible that because I am lifting heavy that I am gaining muscle and thats why I am not losing weight?

Also wouldn't the 1860 calories be my maintenance now because I am satying at the same weight?

A little bump here. I have gone down a littlebit since I started this thread. I guess it is not as fast as I want so I paniced and thought I was stuck. I always thought it should be 2 or 3 pounds a week but sometimes its nothing and sometimes its 3 pounds. I dont know why

Experienced the same things, keep it going and see where it goes. Although you might want to up the cals a bit, ~1900 is pretty low, I have a slow metabolism and I'm cutting on 2000-2100 is @ 225 lbs.
